When swatching my pigment, it looks different to the videos online!

This is the beauty of colour shifting pigments & glitters ;they look different in all different lights & angles and include light sensitive ingredients. Direct sunlight can sometimes wash-out the colours and affect the different tones. Natural light will display the pigment in a different way that low light or flash light will. Also please consider that different monitor & screen settings will change the colours slightly.

Are  you a cruelty free brand?

Animal welfare is a top priority for House of Glitter! 

Little known fact but Carrie, our founder, is a fierce animal welfare supporter and lover, giving to many animal charities regularly, volunteering at local sanctuaries and is also a professional dog walker & sitter!

We do not conduct or commission animal testing on ingredients, formulations or finished products. 

Are your products vegan?

All our products are vegan-friendly and do not contain any animal derived ingredients or animal by-products. our pressed glitters use vegetable glycerine and not a bovine derived glycerine.

Help! My pot of loose eyeshadow doesn’t seem full?

This is totally normal please dont worry! each product is measured on weight, and the difference in density and textures mean some pots could look fuller than others. Rest assured, they are all weighed by with Cosmetic Grade Scales making sure you get exactly what you pay for. All loose pigments come as a 0.5g weight, this may seem a tiny amount but the pot will provide at least 30 applications so a little goes a long way.  If we made the weight any larger the pots would have to be priced very expensively as the pigment we use is very high cost premium pigment.
